Every D'Argenta sculpture is made in Mexico by highly skilled artisans under the creative direction of our master sculptors. Our production combines traditional Mexican silversmithing techniques with modern precision, achieving results that cannot be replicated industrially.

Yes. D'Argenta holds exclusive licensing agreements to produce authorized silver and gold editions of works by legendary artists, including masters of surrealism. These editions are made to the same rigorous standards as our original collections and come with full documentation of authenticity.

D'Argenta sculptures are finished in genuine copper, silver or gold. Our process deposits real precious metal, layer by layer, over the sculpted base, giving an authentic luster, weight and character. Each metal finish is chosen to best serve the artistic intent of the piece.

Our sculptures are not solid metal — they are precision-finished in precious metals. Our process lets us create pieces of dramatic scale and intricate detail that solid metal could not achieve, while keeping the authentic beauty and value of real silver and gold.

Yes. Every D'Argenta work is produced in a limited edition defined for that piece. Edition sizes vary from work to work. Once an edition sells out, it is permanently retired. Each piece is individually numbered, signed by the artist and accompanied by official documentation.

Yes. On request, we arrange a video call to show you the sculpture in detail — scale, finish, patina and condition — before you decide. You can also talk with a D'Argenta art advisor, who will guide you in choosing the piece, answer your questions about authenticity and editions, and arrange shipping or delivery. Each sculpture begins as an original work modeled by the artist in clay or wax. A precision mold is made from the original, and the piece is produced through our own process, which builds up copper, silver or gold layer by layer over the sculpted form. The piece is then finished by hand: polished, selectively oxidized and lacquered by master artisans.

Through a controlled electrochemical process that deposits real metal onto the surface, layer by layer. It builds genuine layers of silver or gold over the sculpture: an authentic metal surface with real precious-metal content, natural weight and the exact aesthetic qualities of the intended finish.

This is entirely intentional and a hallmark of D'Argenta's work. Our artisans apply a selective patina to darken the recesses and concave areas of each sculpture. This deliberate oxidation creates depth, dimension and contrast — making details such as muscle definition, feather texture or facial features stand out dramatically.

No. After the patina is applied, every D'Argenta sculpture is sealed with a durable professional lacquer. This protective layer prevents tarnishing and darkening, preserving the sculpture's finish for many years. The patina you see on your sculpture is the intentional finish created by our artisans, not a sign of wear.

D'Argenta sculptures need little maintenance. Clean them from time to time with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or liquids that could scratch or seep into the lacquer finish. Handle the piece with clean, dry hands, and keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight and heat sources.

No. Because every D'Argenta sculpture is sealed with a professional lacquer, silver polish is not needed — and should not be used, as it can damage the protective coating. The lacquer preserves the finish exactly as it was made, including the intentional patina in the recesses.

D'Argenta sculptures are designed for indoor display. Prolonged exposure to the outdoors — direct sun, humidity, rain or extreme temperature changes — can degrade the lacquer coating over time. We recommend displaying them indoors in a stable environment for the best long-term preservation.

Avoid placing sculptures in prolonged direct sunlight or near heat sources such as radiators or fireplaces. Do not use chemical cleaners, abrasive cloths or silver polish. Do not submerge the piece in water. When moving the sculpture, support it from the base rather than holding delicate protruding elements.

Yes. We ship anywhere in Mexico: shipping is free on orders over $5,000 MXN and costs $400 MXN below that. You can also collect your piece at no cost directly from our factory in Naucalpan, State of Mexico. If you are outside Mexico, we can serve you through dargenta.com.

No. dargenta.mx ships only within Mexico. If you are outside Mexico and would like to buy our sculptures, please visit dargenta.com, where we offer worldwide shipping.

In-stock orders are processed in 2–3 business days. Delivery within Mexico normally takes 3 to 7 business days, depending on your location. We will send you the tracking number once your order has shipped.

Yes. Every D'Argenta shipment is fully insured for the declared value of the sculpture. In the unlikely event of damage or loss in transit, we will work with you to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Please keep all the original packaging and document the opening of the package as described in "What should I do if my sculpture arrives damaged?".

Yes. D'Argenta takes custom commissions for those looking for a one-of-a-kind work. Bespoke pieces can be designed to specific artistic requirements, dimensions or themes. Lead times and pricing vary with complexity. Contact us to talk through your idea and receive a formal proposal.

Yes. D'Argenta is a preferred partner for luxury corporate gifts, awards, trophies and commemorative pieces. We work with companies, foundations and institutions to create bespoke works that reflect the importance of the occasion. In many cases, personalized or branded elements can be incorporated. Lead time varies with complexity and quantity. Simple personalizations can be ready in one or two weeks. Fully bespoke sculptures generally take several weeks. We recommend contacting us as far in advance as possible to allow enough production time.

There is no minimum order. We handle everything from a single piece — an individual recognition, an executive gift, a commemorative award — to larger corporate programs. What we define with you is the piece, the personalization and the delivery date, not the quantity. Contact us to receive a proposal.

You have 180 calendar days from the delivery date to start a return, with prior authorization: write to contact@dargenta.com with your order number and the reason. For orders within Mexico, D'Argenta covers return shipping with a prepaid label. When we receive the piece, we issue store credit based on its condition: 70% of the original purchase price if it arrives in pristine condition in its original packaging, 60% with minor damage and 55% if it is broken. Store credit is valid for 12 months and cannot be exchanged for cash. Commissioned or personalized pieces are not eligible for return unless there is a manufacturing defect. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions.

D'Argenta's lifetime warranty covers manufacturing and material defects for the entire life of the piece: failures in the precious-metal finish or the assembly attributable to our production process. It does not cover accidental damage, normal wear from use, or deterioration resulting from handling or display other than as recommended in our care guide. If you find a defect, contact us with photos and your sculpture's serial number and we will assess your case.

All our shipments are insured. Documentation must begin before the package is opened: ideally, record a continuous, unedited video from the intact exterior of the box until the sculpture is fully visible; if that is not possible, take time-stamped photos of the sealed exterior and during unpacking. Send the documentation to contact@dargenta.com within 48 hours of delivery and keep all the original packaging. With that evidence, we handle the claim and repair the piece or, if the damage cannot be repaired, replace it.

Yes. You have 180 calendar days from the delivery date to request an exchange, with prior authorization: write to contact@dargenta.com with your order number, the piece you want to exchange and the piece you would like instead. The credit toward the new piece depends on the condition of the original: 100% of the original purchase price in pristine condition, 80% with minor damage and 70% if it is broken. For exchanges, shipping in both directions, and any applicable taxes or duties, are paid by the customer. Exchange credit applies only to another D'Argenta piece and cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with other promotions.

Every D'Argenta sculpture is signed by its creator and comes with official D'Argenta documentation of authenticity, including the edition number and the artist's name. Buy only through dargenta.mx or our authorized galleries to guarantee genuine provenance.

Yes. Every D'Argenta piece is individually numbered as part of its limited edition, signed by the artist and accompanied by documentation of authenticity.

Yes. D'Argenta keeps an internal register of every piece it produces, identified by serial number. If you would like to confirm the authenticity or provenance of a sculpture — whether your own, inherited or bought on the secondary market — contact us with the piece's serial number and we will check its record.
