Why so many of them sit on a branch

Of all the big cats, the leopard is the climber. In Africa and Asia it rests in trees and often carries its prey up into the branches, so most of the adults here lie on dark, gnarled branch bases whose near-black wood makes the metal glow. The Sleeping Silver Leopard Statue Sleeping on a Branch is draped over its perch with its legs hanging loose on either side, while the Silver Leopard Statue Contemplating on a Branch walks along it, head pushed forward.

The calm leopards, in silver and in gold, lie stretched out with the head resting forward, long, low and muscular even at rest. Composed lengthwise, a leopard sculpture on a branch reads best from the side, at eye level.

A mother raising her cubs alone

Leopards live solitary lives, and the mother raises her cubs by herself. On the Gold Leopard Statue on a Branch with Leopard Cubs she lies high on a tall branch while the cubs climb the lower limbs toward her. In silver the scene draws closer: on the Silver Leopard Statue Mother & Cubs Laying Down she lies on the ground with the young curled into her side.

The cubs are compact and round-headed, with big paws and small round ears. The Curious Silver Leopard Cub Statue tilts its head as if listening, the sitting cubs face forward with the mouth slightly open and the others stretch out flat: a leopard cub statue for a desk or a bedside table.

Rosettes on silver, gold and black

The coat is what the eye catches first. Every leopard carries its rosettes, drawn dark against mirror-bright silver or outlined on warm 24-karat gold, over a fine fur texture. Most models are made in both finishes, so the same pose reads cool as a silver leopard statue and warm as a gold leopard statue. The Sitting Gold Leopard Statue, upright and alert, head high, has a silver twin that shows the difference.

The Black Copper Sitting Leopard Cub Statue is the quiet exception: matte charcoal-black, its rosettes visible only as relief, it works as leopard decor for rooms where pattern is already busy. Our jaguar, tiger and lion statues and the wider land animal sculptures continue the family.

Frequently asked questions

How does a leopard statue differ from a jaguar?

The jaguar of the Americas is stockier, and its rosettes usually carry a dot at the centre; the leopard is longer and lighter. Black panther is the common name for a black leopard or jaguar, and our jaguar statues have a collection of their own.

Which leopard suits a console, and which a desk?

The leopards on branches are long, horizontal compositions that suit a console, a sideboard or a mantel. The seated adults and the cubs are compact, for a shelf or a desk. An art advisor can show any piece on a video call, measurements included.

How does a silver or gold leopard keep its shine?

Each leopard is protected by a resistant lacquer, so a soft, dry cloth is all it needs; metal polish and cleaning agents are best avoided. Every piece carries our lifetime guarantee covering manufacturing defects, and we ship throughout Mexico from Mexico City.
