He painted using vibrant colors in a style that was influenced by the indigenous cultures of Mexico as well as European influences including realism, symbolism, and surrealism.

Many of her works are self-portraits that symbolically express her own pain and sexuality to explore issues of identity, postcolonialism, gender, class, and race in Mexican society.

In cooperation with the granddaughters of Frida Kahlo, we developed these magnificent sculptures, statues and reliefs in silver and gold that preserve the essence of what Frida Kahlo represented in life so that her legacy will be with us for years to come.
