Leaves to set the table with

Most of these fruit bowls are leaves, reproduced at life size with every vein and the natural curl of the edge, so that the bowl is the leaf itself. The Monstera Deliciosa leaf, with its deep cuts and openings, comes in silver, in 24-karat gold and in matte gold. The Elephant Ear leaf, broad, heart-shaped and gently cupped, comes in several sizes, from a fruit bowl for the kitchen island to a large table centerpiece.

The Fatsia Japonica bowl opens like a hand with pointed fingers, the Tropical leaf bowls are long ovals around a strong central rib, and the Palm leaf centerpieces stretch into slender blades made for a long dining table. Silver and gold leaves read as one arrangement when they are set side by side, and the Black Leaf fruit bowl adds a single dark note.

The agave, a leaf from Mexico

The agave is native to Mexico, and our Agave leaf fruit bowl and Silver Agave Leaf Table Center keep its long, narrow form and its serrated edge. In silver it is one of the most graphic pieces in the collection, and a gift that speaks of Mexico without needing to say so.

The Pumpkin fruit bowl is the playful one: a rounded, lidded form with leopard-spot cut-outs that looks as good on a sideboard as on the table. For sweets and small fruit, the silver candy bowls, one of them with a glass bowl, are made for a console, a desk or the entrance of a home.

Classical silver centerpieces

For a formal table, the Corinthian Silver Fruit Bowl and the Ionic Column fruit bowl centerpiece set a wide glass bowl on an ornate silver base modelled on the capitals of classical columns: acanthus leaves for the Corinthian order, scrolled volutes for the Ionic. The Silver Fruit Bowl with glass top and the low and tall silver centerpieces carry the same idea at different heights.

A fruit bowl rarely stays only a fruit bowl. On a dining table it becomes the centerpiece, on a console it greets visitors, and as a gift it suits weddings and housewarmings. Our candle holders, flower vases, table centerpieces and floral and leaf decor complete the table around it.

Frequently asked questions

Silver or gold: which fruit bowl should I choose?

Silver is bright and cool and reflects the colours of the fruit and the room; 24-karat gold is warm and glows in evening light. Matte gold is softer still. Many clients mix them, a gold leaf beside a silver one, on the same table.

Which pieces work as a dining table centerpiece?

The large Elephant Ear and Palm leaf centerpieces and the classical pieces on Corinthian and Ionic bases are made for the centre of the table. Each page lists the piece's size, and an art advisor can help you by video call.

How do I care for a silver or gold fruit bowl?

Every piece is protected by a resistant lacquer, so a soft, dry cloth is all it needs; metal polish and cleaning agents are best avoided. All pieces carry our lifetime guarantee covering manufacturing defects.
