Swan Sculptures
Two ways of seeing the same bird: smooth, stylized swans whose wings unfold like ribbons, and a feathered swan gliding in antiqued silver, each finished by hand in Mexico City in silver, in 24-karat gold or in deep black.

Wings drawn as ribbons
The stylized swans are mirror-polished and smooth: a long S-curved neck, a small head, and wings drawn as sweeping ribbons that fold along the body like layered blades. The Silver Swan Statue keeps those ribbons close, and the Gold Swan Statue repeats the same form in 24-karat gold, warm where the silver is cool.
In the Silver Swan Statue Opening Wings the ribbons rise high and sweep backwards like flames. The Black Swan Statue Opening Wings is that same open-wing model in a deep black finish, the most graphic piece on the page. Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, first performed in 1877, made the white and the black swan icons of grace, and the two side by side tell that story without a word.
A feathered swan and a swan mask
The Silver Swan Figurine speaks another language. It is a naturalistic swan gliding, every feather of its raised wings incised, in a softer, antiqued silver where the darker recesses make the plumage read. None of the swans stands on a base, so each seems to rest on water when it is set on a polished table or a mirrored tray.
The Silver Swan Mask Sculpture takes the bird to the wall: a smooth silver carnival face with open eyes, framed by a swan whose curved neck and wings wrap around it, with touches of gold and a green leaf. It belongs as much with our Mask sculptures as with the swan statues on this page.
A symbol of fidelity
Swans often form long-lasting pair bonds, which is why the swan has stood for love and fidelity for so long and is a traditional wedding or anniversary gift. A pair of swans facing each other, or a single gold swan, suits exactly that kind of occasion, as do the pieces on our Wedding gifts page.
The swan also has a place in the night sky, where the constellation Cygnus spreads its wings. The stylized pieces share that sense of a bird drawn in a few long lines, so a swan sculpture sits as easily in a modern room as in a classical one. For a room built around birds, our Bird statues carry the theme further.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the silver swan statue and the figurine?
The statue is the stylized swan: mirror-polished and smooth, its wings drawn as long folded ribbons. The figurine is naturalistic, with every feather incised and an antiqued silver that darkens in the recesses. One reads as modern sculpture, the other as a portrait of the bird.
Is a swan a good anniversary gift?
It is one of the most traditional, since swans often stay with one partner for years. The gold piece is the warmest of the group, and two swans side by side make the meaning explicit. An art advisor can show you any of them on a video call.
How do I care for a silver or gold swan?
Every piece is protected by a resistant lacquer, so a soft, dry cloth is all it needs; metal polish and cleaning agents are best avoided. All pieces carry our lifetime guarantee covering manufacturing defects, and we ship throughout Mexico.
