Wild horses at full gallop

The wild horses of North America, the mustangs, descend from horses brought by the Spanish in the 16th century, and they still run in family bands led by a stallion and a lead mare. The Silver Running Wild Horses Statue captures such a band, the wild horse statue in its fullest form: a herd galloping side by side, manes and tails flying, over a long, low black base.

The Running Silver Horses Statue shows two horses leaping together over a dark, jagged rock on a black plinth. The single running horses stretch out at full gallop with their tails streaming, one in mirror silver; the Running Black Horse Statue repeats the stride in a matte dark grey-black that reads as pure silhouette, the darker twin of a galloping horse statue in silver.

Rearing horses and Arabians

A rearing horse is a classic image of strength in equestrian art. The two rearing horses here rise on their hind legs above a textured, swirling silver base, the whole body lifted into a single upward line. Close by, the Silver Horse Statue, Leg Up raises one foreleg in a proud, measured step over its dark base.

The Arabian, from the Arabian Peninsula, is one of the oldest horse breeds, known for its dished face, arched neck and high tail. Our Arabians are slimmer and more refined than the running herds: the Silver Arabian Horse Statue - Curious and its companions stand or step on dark rocky bases, necks arched, small heads alert and tails carried high.

Horse heads, and the horse in Mexico

Each horse head statue is a bust: a mirror-smooth face and a mane rendered as fine, flowing strands, set on a black stepped plinth. The Serene Silver Horse Head Statue lowers its muzzle calmly, and the Serene Gold Horse Head Statue makes the same gesture entirely in 24-karat gold. A third head is held level, its mane blown back, on a black block.

In Mexico the horse is at the heart of charrería, the national sport, and a silver horse statue finds a natural place in an office, a study, a library or a ranch house. Our Horse statues page gathers the wider stable, from the classical to the stylised.

Frequently asked questions

Which finishes are available?

Most pieces are finished in mirror silver, with dark accents on the bases. The Serene Gold Horse Head Statue is entirely in 24-karat gold, and the Running Black Horse Statue has a matte dark grey-black finish, close in spirit to our Matte black sculptures.

Is a horse sculpture a good gift?

It is one of the classic gifts for riders, for lovers of charrería and for anyone who leads a team, a company or a family. Our Gifts for him page gathers more ideas, and an art advisor can show you any piece on a video call.

How do I care for a silver or gold horse?

Every piece is protected by a resistant lacquer, so a soft, dry cloth is all it needs; metal polish and cleaning agents are best avoided. All pieces carry our lifetime guarantee covering manufacturing defects, and we ship throughout Mexico from Mexico City.
